Starting a Cam Session
Before you can start a Cam Session, you'll first need to find a Flirt with an available Cam Listing. You can browse available Cam Listings in the Cam category on niteflirt.com.
Or, If you already know who you'd like to connect with, visit their Storefront to see if they have an available Cam Listing.
When a Flirt is available for Cam, their Cam Listing will display the Cam Now button along with the per-minute rate for the session.
Good to know: You aren't charged while waiting for the Flirt to accept your request. Billing begins only after you and the Flirt have both successfully joined the Cam Session.
Joining Your Cam Session
Click Cam Nowto send the Flirt a Cam request. While you're waiting, the Flirt can choose to accept or decline your request. If they decline the request or don't respond in time, you'll be notified and the Cam Session won't begin.
Before joining, you may be asked to allow NiteFlirt access to your camera and microphone. You’ll then see a preview of your video and whether your camera and microphone are turned on. Use the camera and microphone buttons to choose whether you’d like to join with video or audio enabled.
Camera or microphone blocked? You can still join the Cam Session if access is blocked. You may also see an option to update your device permissions before or during the session. Check out Camera & Microphone Permissions for more information.
During Your Cam Session
Once both you and the Flirt have joined the Cam Session, billing begins automatically and continues until the session ends.
Throughout the session, you'll have quick access to controls that let you manage your camera, microphone, and how the session is displayed.
Session Controls
The controls along the bottom of the screen let you manage your audio, video, and the Cam Session itself.
From here, you can:
- Turn your camera on or off.
- Mute or unmute your microphone.
- Send the Flirt a one-time Tribute.
- End the Cam Session at any time.
Good to know: Turning your camera or microphone off does not pause or end the Cam Session, and billing continues until the session ends. If the Flirt turns off their camera, you'll see their Storefront image until they turn their camera back on.
Layout Controls
You can also customize how the Cam Session is displayed using the layout controls located around the video window.
Layout controls include:
- Swap Views: Click the up/down arrows in the upper-left corner to switch the positions of your video and the Flirt's video.
- Split View: Click the Split View icon in the upper-right corner to toggle between the standard view and a side-by-side layout.
- Full Screen: Click the Full Screen icon in the upper-right corner to expand the Cam Session to fill your screen.
Balance & Billing
Cam Sessions are billed by the minute using the rate shown on the Flirt’s Cam Listing. Billing begins once both you and the Flirt are connected and stops when the Cam Session ends.
Click Add Money at anytime to add funds to your account without leaving the Cam Session.
If your balance begins running low, you’ll see a Low Balance reminder during the session. You can add funds without disconnecting from Cam.
Please note: If your balance reaches $0 before additional funds are added, the Cam Session ends automatically.
Sending a Tribute
Want to show the Flirt some extra appreciation? Click the Tribute button during your Cam Session to send a one-time Tribute without leaving the session.
Once the Tribute is sent successfully, you’ll see a confirmation in the Cam Session.
After Your Cam Session
After the Cam Session ends, click View Session Details to open the Cam Session Details page, where you can review everything about your Cam session.
You’ll also have the option to leave Feedback about your experience and send the Flirt a Tribute. Feedback helps other customers learn more about the Flirt and lets them know what you enjoyed about your Cam Session.
💡 Tips for a Great Cam Session
- Check your camera and microphone first. Make sure NiteFlirt has permission to access both devices before joining. Need help with your camera or microphone? Check out Camera & Microphone Permissions.
- Use a reliable connection. A strong Wi-Fi or cellular connection helps keep your video and audio running smoothly.
- Use headphones when possible. They can help reduce echo and improve audio quality.
- Keep the Cam window open. Switching tabs or apps may temporarily interrupt your camera or microphone while billing continues.
- Keep an eye on your balance. Add funds when you receive a Low Balance reminder to avoid ending your session unexpectedly.
