Stay connected with NiteFlirt wherever you go! Once you've installed the NiteFlirt Progressive Web App (PWA) on your mobile device, you can enable push notifications to receive NiteFlirt alerts even when you aren't actively using the app.
Follow the steps below to enable push notifications on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device and make sure your notification sound settings are ready to go.

Enabling Push Notifications on iPhone & iPad
Once the NiteFlirt PWA is installed, you'll first enable push notifications from your NiteFlirt Account, then make sure your device allows NiteFlirt notifications.
- Open the NiteFlirt app from your Home Screen.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the upper-right corner.
- Select Account Info, then Push Notifications.
- Tap Enable, then select Allow when your device asks for permission to send notifications.
- Open your device's Settings.
- Go to Notifications > NiteFlirt.
- Make sure Allow Notifications is turned ON.
- Make sure Sounds is also turned on if you'd like to hear an alert when a NiteFlirt notification arrives.
Enabling Push Notifications on Android
Once the NiteFlirt PWA is installed, you'll first enable push notifications from your NiteFlirt Account, then make sure Android allows NiteFlirt notifications.
- Open the NiteFlirt app from your Home Screen.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the upper-right corner.
- Select Account Info, then Push Notifications.
- Tap Enable, then select Allow when your device asks for permission to send notifications.
- Open your device's Settings.
- Go to Apps > NiteFlirt > Notifications.
- Make sure Allow Notifications is turned ON.
- Check your available notification settings and make sure notification sounds are enabled if you'd like to hear an alert when a NiteFlirt notification arrives.
Good to know: Android settings can look slightly different depending on your device and Android version. Look for Notifications under NiteFlirt's app settings and make sure notifications are allowed.
Make Sure You Can Hear Notifications
Enabling push notifications makes it possible for NiteFlirt to send alerts to your device, but whether you hear those alerts also depends on your notification and device sound settings.
For audible NiteFlirt alerts, make sure:
- NiteFlirt notifications are allowed in your device settings.
- Notification sounds are enabled for NiteFlirt.
- Your device's ringer or notification volume is turned up.
- Your device isn't set to Silent, Do Not Disturb, Focus, or another mode that prevents notification sounds.
🔔 Flirts: Available for Cam?
PWA push notifications can alert you when a customer sends an incoming Cam request, even when you aren't actively watching NiteFlirt. To make sure you can hear the alert, both NiteFlirt's notification sounds and your device's sound must be enabled. Learn more in Cam Notifications.
Not Receiving Notifications?
If NiteFlirt notifications aren't appearing, or they're appearing without sound, check the following:
- Open the NiteFlirt PWA and go to ⋮ > Account Info > Push Notifications to confirm push notifications are enabled in NiteFlirt.
- Confirm that notifications are also allowed for NiteFlirt in your device settings.
- If notifications appear without sound, make sure notification sounds are enabled and your device isn't muted.
- Check Do Not Disturb, Focus, or similar settings that may silence notifications.
- Completely close and reopen the NiteFlirt PWA.
If you're still having trouble, removing the PWA and reinstalling it can reset its permissions. After reinstalling, be sure to return to Account Info > Push Notifications and enable push notifications again.
