Feeds gives Flirts another way to interact with customers, promote their content, and enhance their existing NiteFlirt business. Your Feed is a collection of interactive posts that will act as an alluring (and accurate) representation of what your followers will get by becoming paid subscribers. And unlike other subscription services, you have complete control over the visibility of your content!
To start your feed, you must have an accepted live listing. You'll populate your Feed with posts, so let's start there!
NF Feeds is a combined feed of all Feed posts -- anyone who follows your Feed will see your posts here. This is the primary place where followers and subscribers will interact with Flirts. (Note: new Feeds will appear in search results within 24 hours of a Feed starting.) To follow a fellow Flirt, visit that Flirt's Feed and click the icon. Following Flirts is free!
As with your Profile, your Flirt Feed address is niteflirt.com/plus/ + your Member Name. For example: https://www.niteflirt.com/plus/Flirty Flirt
Copy and personalize the HTML below to share a "Subscribe" button on your website or social media. Just replace "Your Member Name" with your actual Member Name:
<a href="https://www.niteflirt.com/plus/Your Member Name"><img src="https://www.niteflirt.com/niteflirt/images/btn-ext-follow.svg" border="0"></a>
Now, personalize your Feed by selecting your Avatar and Cover Photo. Just click the to select a photo from File Manager or to upload one! Please note that any images you add as your Avatar or Cover Photo will be processed and reviewed before they appear on your Feed, and you'll see while that's happening. Refresh your Feed to see your updated Avatar and/or Cover Photo.
Posting to your Feed is the primary way you'll supply content to your followers. You can offer Free Posts that are visible to anyone who visits your Feed or you can create Subscriber Posts, which can be seen by all subscribers. To limit the visibility of a Subscriber Post, you can elect to hide it from future subscribers so that it's only available to current subscribers.
Free Posts are an essential part of your Feed. These posts do not require a subscription to view, so they're a great way to entice your free followers with a taste of what they can expect by becoming a paid subscriber. As a general rule, you should have 2 Free Posts for every Subscriber Post.
Nudity is not allowed in Free Posts.
Subscriber Posts, by default, are visible to all of your subscribers. These posts are intended to give subscribers exclusive access to additional content, such as behind the scenes content or extra information about the Flirt. We recommend starting with at least 10 Subscriber Posts so that subscribers will find immediate value. Because Subscriber Posts can only be viewed by subscribers, they cannot be pinned to the Feed.
Nudity is allowed in Subscriber Posts.
Unlike other subscription products, Feeds gives you full control over the "back catalog" of Subscriber Posts that new subscribers can access -- no more "get 5 years of work for 1 month's subscription." To keep a Subscriber Post out of your back catalog, check the “Hide from future subscribers” box while composing a new post. With this box checked, the post will only be visible to those with active subscriptions at the time the post was published.
You can add a past Subscriber Post into your back catalog at any time you'd like using the "..." menu. Just select "Make visible to all subscribers."
To remove a post from your back catalog using the "..." menu, select "Limit to preexisting subscribers."
By having the ability to create both free and subscriber posts, Flirts have more control and flexibility over the content they offer, and the ability to create a tiered content experience for their audience. We recommend that you post a minimum of two posts per month.
To create a post, click on the "New Post" button in the left navigation menu.
Select the type of post you want to create. Note: once you add media, you cannot change the type of post.
Fill in the post's caption. Click add media (only photos, videos, and audio files are supported in Feed posts) from File Manager or computer upload. Media added to posts does not count towards your File Manager storage limit. Once you add media, you cannot change the type of post, so you'll have to start over if you want to do that.
The caption you enter for every post is visible to anyone who visits your feed. Click "Add Subscriber Caption" to enter a special, subscriber-only caption in addition to the public one.
When you're ready, click Post to make the post live on your feed.
If you want to pin the post to the top of your feed, you can do so by clicking the "Pin" button. You may only pin Free Posts and you can have only one pinned post at a time.
Another great feature of Feeds is that Flirts can schedule posts in advance. To schedule posts, follow the steps above to create a new post. Once you're done composing the post and adding media, click the icon.
Select the date and time that you want to publish the post and click save.
To review or edit scheduled posts, visit the Posts Queue.
Use the "..." menu to access the post's options.
Another primary feature of Feeds is monthly subscriptions. Followers who want to get your subscriber content for a monthly fee will become subscribers. Subscribers will automatically be billed each new billing period and they can cancel at any time, but will still have access to Subscriber Posts until their billing period has ended.
Your monthly subscription fee must be must be at least $3.99 and cannot exceed $50.00. If you make changes to your monthly subscription fee, we'll let your current subscribers know. They'll have to accept the new price in order to stay subscribed.
As with most NiteFlirt features, you'll keep 70% of all Feeds subscriptions.
Followers and Subscribers
Followers can view Free Posts created by the Flirts they're following, but cannot view subscriber-only posts. Subscriber posts will appear as obscured or locked as an incentive for followers to become subscribers (all followers must have a credit card on file).
Subscribers have access to all of the Flirt's Free Posts and all Subscriber Posts that are visible to all subscribers. They will also see all Subscriber Posts published in the last 24 hours and as well as those published while the subscription is still active. They can leave comments and likes on all posts they have access to. Subscribers will automatically follow each Flirt to whom they've subscribed and cannot un-follow without canceling their subscription first. Subscribers whose subscriptions have ended will revert to a follower.
Customers
Feeds Followers and Subscribers will be added to Customers. New customers who subscribe will have next to their names, while new customers who follow your feed will have the standard next to their names.
And you'll find 4 new Customer Lists to help with organization and mail communications:
- Free Followers -- these are the customer who are following your feed.
- Expired Subscribers -- these followers had a subscription with you at one time but are not currently subscribed.
- Current Subscribers -- these followers are currently subscribed to your feed.
- Pending Expiration -- these subscribers' subscriptions will expire soon. Now is a great time to encourage renewing their subscriptions!
Feeds customers will also have additional details on the Customer Details page. You'll see a brief summary of their Feeds/NF+ relationship:
